Mr. Listing Agent -- WHAT did you call the staging??

home staging in portland oregon 97221

This modest home in Beaverton, OR was staged by our team one recent Saturday.  The owner had moved out of state and the home had been a rental for a couple of years.  His listing agent contacted me for a home staging proposal after the home was freshly painted and new carpeting was installed.  There were several homes in this development with the same floorplan already on the market, but they weren't professionally staged. We staged the key "impact" rooms in this home ... here are a few photos of a couple of them ....

RESULT?  SOLD in THREE WEEKS!

The listing agent contacted me and said, "Please leave me a pile of your business cards.  This was really KICK-A$$ staging and I will be referring my future clients to you!"

Hmmm ... let's see .... can I repeat that on my website's Testimonials page?

Homes show so much nicer when they have some character in them and not a vacant wide open room. I have one that needs it bad.

Laura ~ Most would agree with you! I hope you find a great local stager to work with -- have you checked here on A/R?

Maureen your pictures speak volumes. We totally get staging and offer to pay 3 hours FREE for our sellers.

Since many buyers cannot visualize a room furnished, your photos are the proof for the listing agents that staging works and sellers would be wise to hire a stage. Very Nice.

Maureen your staging says it all, a professional who can get a home sold quickly!  Congratulations.

Maureen I wonder if he's promoting you as his Kick A$$ stager?  It would certainly get some attention and knowing Realtors that would probably get you even more business.  Personally I think I would put it in my testimonials...but remember I live in Hickville and these folks can truly relate to Kick A$$.  Great job!

Great job! And congrats on the quick sale.

Janice ~ Good for you!  What a wonderful benefit you're providing your clients with staging.

Mary ~ thanks so much for your feedback.  The proof that staging works can be compelling.

Leolinda ~ Since looking at empty, boring rooms won't encourage an offer, staging is a great way to capture attention.  Your comments are appreciated!

Thanks Michael ~ You're right .... builders have known about the power of staging their models for years.  Now everyone can do it.

Sara ~ Color is always good to add to a home with light paint colors ... it adds energy and life.

Sash ~ Nice to hear from you, and thank you.

Cathy ~ Very happy, yes!  We love those quick sales for our stats.

Wendy ~ LOL that sounds so funny ....

Ginger ~ I was even hesitant to put it in my post!  But it's what he said so .... maybe I should add it?

Donna ~ Now don't go getting any ideas, my friend!!  LOL

As always beautiful Staging!!!  I just love the enthusiasm this Realtor has.  That enthusiasm will spread quickly.  This is such a great success story!  I wish you many more just like it.  I'll be watching for the next one which I am sure will be soon!  All the best to you Maureen, you are an "Awesome Stager".

Just think if that realtor put that term in a poem -

Dear Maureen

You're an Irish Lass

Your latest staging

Was simply KICK-A$$

Congrats again!

Barb Mihalik Coldwell Banker Sea Coast Realty Wilmington, NC  This is a perfect example of what staging a vacant house can do.  How can a buyer visualize a giant empty space from internet photos?  Great rooms are especially challenging.  I love what you did.

Barb ~ It's great to hear from another Realtor that you endorse staging -- you're right that most buyers can't imagine how a space could look when previewing homes online.

Kathy ~ OK then, I'll use this unusual testimonial!  Thanks for the feature.

Frank ~ in a modest home like this, simple design is best.  Thanks for your feedback.
