A $150 is such a small amount compared to the ROI they will get from just one of your recommendations. I think of it as the investment that lasts. Think how many times we spend $150 on something that doesn't last, and certainly doesn't give us a return on our money.
I agree with Karen - you are a talented teacher and your students all get an A+. Being coached by a professional home stager and completing the suggestions given during a consultation will put sellers in a very strong strategic position.

I have many Realtors who offer this service to their clients. The one difference is that I do it verbally AND give them a written checklist so they can concentrate and not take notes while I'm there. Wish everyone followed up with the detail your pictures show. It definitely makes a difference!
Kim ~ It sounds like you work with agents who understand that a well-presented home does indeed make a difference! I always suggest that either both sellers be present, or if just one seller is available, then their agent come along to take the notes.

Maureen- as always great results and I have to believe that motivated sellers aside, it must have something (ie. a lot) to do with their "teacher". I began offering verbal consultations because of our market here and just had my first one last week. The sellers loved it. Quick question: are you always able to return for the "after" photos? Or, do your sellers or realtor send them to you?

Maureen, nice pictures and great consultation work. The report must be very detailed that your clients were able to turn their spaces into such nice looking & buyers appealing houses. I am also offering this service and my clients like to hear that they have such an economical option. If they feel that the recommendations are too much work, I always give them the option that they can still ask for my help and book me on an hourly basis.

Birgit ~ Thanks, I actually don't include a "report" in this service -- my clients or their agent take notes as I walk through the home with them, but my suggestions are very specific to their home and what needs to be done. It's one of my favorite services and I give a lot of positive encouragement to my clients too. I'm glad that this type of service option works well for your clients too.
