Jason Gardner asked me to provide a home staging proposal for a listing that had been on the market for over a year with another agent, but hadn't sold. The listing had expired, and Jason recognized that this home could benefit from staging and just a few easy cosmetic improvements. After staging, the home was listed and showings improved dramatically! In less than 40 days, this home was SOLD! The great room was staged to appeal to the target buyer of this property, taking care to showcase the room's tall windows and fireplace
The Kitchen was staged to show buyers a great space to entertain family & friends; a more neutral paint color and removal of the window coverings shows buyers that it's 'move-in ready' 
The master bedroom was staged so that buyers could imagine living here (buyers can make an emotional connection to a home if they can "see" themselves enjoying it) -- and it was photographed to show the view

Now a few words about the actual staging....I know it's the same house it just doesn't "feel" like the same house! What a world of difference with a few simple changes and the right furniture, art and accessories....showroom perfect!!!!! Congrats!!!!!

Hi Maureen--I can certainly understand from the before pictures why that house was still on the market after a year. Maureen - If this isn't a testimonial to home staging, I don't know what is. The home sat on the market for a whole year, then after your expert home staging, the property sold in 40 days! Kudos to you and your smart Realtor®. You mentioned that the "before" photos were actually the original MLS photos. It would be tough to motivate home buyers to even come and look at the home when it was presented in such a dated way. A wonderful success story - congratulations!
Maureen- another perfect staging... the transformation in the master bedroom was remarkable. Now a buyer could see waking up to that great view. PS I'm "lovin'" the Santa on the hearth in the Before pic!
