Many of us watch HGTV's The Stagers faithfully and love the focus that it brings to the home staging industry! If you'd like to let HGTV know that you'd like The Stagers to continue -- or to suggest that they make the show an hour instead of 30 minutes -- you can make comments here. Let's let them know what we think! I commented and received back this reply ... "your comments and suggestions about our programming and our website are very important to all of us. Be assured, every (comment) is read with consideration."

Aloha Maureen,
I have yet to see the show, but thanks for encouraging me to do so and thanks for the links too.
Peace,
I have watched a couple episodes of it and I don't care for the show. HGTV should do a show for the average homeowner with a realistic budget and a real stager, no free labor like on Designed To Sell. Show America what a homeowner, a stager and a realistic amount of money can do to a house to make it more salable.
Kimo - If it's available in your area, you should check it out! It's fun even with the drama involved. Mahalo!
Rich ~ Is it because their budget seems higher than most? I've heard that some of the future episodes have a more reasonable budget. Be sure to let HGTV know your thoughts, as they'll put out there what they think the public wants. Thanks for your feedback.
Maureen, thanks for the links to the great staging advice! And I've got to watch the show - I've seen designed to sell - which makes people think they can actaully transform their homes for $2000!
Hi Maureen, I just left my comments on the HGTV Canada site. I sure hope that the show gets picked up for a second season and that they will consider extending the episodes to 1 hour in length.
Thanks for the link to my interview!
Pat ~ Those TV shows with a staging budget of $2000 "forget" to include all of the labor costs, which could effectively double the actual cost to a homeowner -- so they don't seem very realistic, even though the outcome usually looks great. The Stagers is more authentic but some of the episodes have VERY high staging budgets. The norm must be somewhere in between -- you should tune it and watch an episode!
Charlene ~ Glad to hear you made your thoughts known to HGTV. The Stagers is a great start in portraying staging realistically and it's very entertaining as well. We'll keep our fingers crossed that they listen to our feedback!
Hi Maureen, Thanks for the links.. I really enjoyed Charlene's interview and would love to see a one hour show.. I will make a comment.. God bless and thanks so much for the tip on using Hammerite on switchplate covers - that's awesome.. God bless,
Cheryl ~ Thanks for commenting on HGTV's site -- it would be great if they expanded this show to one hour to show what we really go through wouldn't it?
Thanks for the info Maureen, I will for sure give my feedback, I'd like it stretched to an hour but I'm not sure I can watch Bridget being rude to her mom for a full hour! Love Matthew though! ~ Emily
Emily ~ I'm with you -- Bridget is much too rude to her mom!! But Matthew is so entertaining that I could watch him for an hour, no problem!
Hey thanks for the links Maureen, nice to know we can leave our feedback for them. I feel as though tv shows like this could be more beneficial to the general publicif they showed staging jobs with different budgets and somehow included the staging fees or at least the fact there are some additional cost, but overall I think it's a great show
Thanks, Maureen! I left my comments on HGTV's webpage.
Ronelle~ Thanks for your input. This shows does have some different budgets but for the most part, they're much higher than most jobs in my area (sometimes by far!). But it's fun as a stager to watch this one because it does show the non-glamorous, real world of staging ... including what can go wrong!
Nancy ~ Glad to hear that you commented on their site, it would be great if they take our comments and keep them in mind when making decisions on future programming.
I think that the budgets seem very realistic and as Matthew has said repeatedly they include all fees, including labor, delivery, etc. While the budgets may seem high to some, to get the quality they are deliving I feel they are quite reasonable. If you want less, pay less... if you want results, guess what?
Melissa ~ I agree with you -- their work is outstanding and gets the desired results!
Thanks for the tips!
